god i love this because like you can tell when the writers were writing these lines they were meant to be like dark sarcastic and witty but hugh dancy plays it SO COMPLETELY DIFFERENTLY like the way he delivers these lines makes will sound like he’s just desperately trying to be funny and make jokes to put people at ease but he’s so shaky and twitchy that it just makes everyone around him VISIBLY MORE ON EDGE like it’s completely unthreatening and not at all biting you’re just kind of like william what the HELL don’t SAY things like that it’s WEIRD and i fucking love that because it’s so much truer to life!!! things sound way better in your head!!! hugh fancy you’re ok you’re ok in my book hugh fancy

#i can’t decide what’s better #the fact that you can literally see the exact moment chris realizes he said the wrong thing #the fact that he says ”have a nice day” TO HIMSELF since the interviewer is already gone by then #the fact that he says it TWICE; the second time just to be sure he got it right #the fact that all of this could have been avoided if he’d just stopped while he was ahead with ”merci” #honestly i think it’s none of these things #i think my favorite thing is zach not even waiting for the interviewer to leave before pulling out his phone #and ignoring chris so completely and without any effort #at this point chris murmuring to himself in french doesn’t even warrant a sideways glance (radiophile)

when I was little, I went through a phase where I’d wear my Spiderman costume under all my clothes, so I wore it for about 3 years straight and my mom never found out until one day when we were at a family party, I was wearing the costume under a really fancy and expensive dress, and someone started choking on something so I ripped off the dress to reveal the costume to try and save them, and I think my mom just about had a heart attack
